The Rebul crate can be assembled around the piece giving you 360-degree access to the valuable while packing to ensure no damage is done in the process and allows intricate supports to be put in place, which only apply pressure to areas of the art that can withstand it. The Rebul crate provides excellent shock absorption and minimises abrasion while being lightweight which dramatically decreases the chance of rough handling.

Antiques
Antiques can be extremely meticulous in the way they need to be transported. Most antiques will be easily damaged if too much pressure is applied in the wrong places, they are also prone to abrasions, especially when being packed in wooden crates.
Each antique needs to be considered on its own merits, condition, and make up when determining how to pack it. Strong, simple, light crates are always going to work better than heavy, rough, and cumbersome ones. It is also recommended to use soft and sensitive wrapping tissues, as even the pressure from some bubble wrap can harm antiques.
Bespoke furniture
Handcrafted bespoke furniture can be as delicate as it is heavy. No stock standard solution for crating and protecting these can be followed. All of our crate solutions are designed to take the ‘science’ out of crating.
Our custom crates are individually designed with internal crate supports, to protect your unique pieces and timbers, minimising shock and ensuring necessary pressure is maintained only where it can be applied.
Each piece of your furniture is a unique work of art. Many of our clients are removals, so moving furniture is an area of specialty for us. You have three options for packing. We can send your custom crates to you for packing yourself. Alternatively you can utilize our specialist packers onsite or we can arrange for your items to be delivered to our office for packing. Wherever your furniture needs to be picked up from or delivered to, our friendly staff can arrange the transport.

Far greater shock absorption
This means that in rough handling or transit, the shock isn’t transferred through the packaging onto the object.
Superior bending strength
If a load falls onto a plywood crate, the wall is more likely to bow and bend, causing pressure on the object within. Rebul Crates are purposefully designed to have greater bending strength and therefore better protection.
Significant reduction in abrasion
Wooden crates can wear through wrapping materials with the constant movement of the object within the crate. Rebul crates’ soft interior avoids this.
Lightweight
Because Rebul Crates are significantly lighter than wooden crates – in fact only 1/6th the weight – handlers are more likely to treat the crates with care and you face a reduced risk of them being dropped.
