Chandelier Crates
Suspended within the crate
Four very large chandeliers needed to be crated for transport and storage in Adelaide. Weighing up to 400kg and 12.5 cubic metres in volume, these needed to be safely suspended within a crate.
With a tight 5 day turnaround from order to delivery into Adelaide, the chandelier crates needed to be able to flat pack, be crated from the top and side (via crane) and of course suspend this load safely for many months.
I organised crates and my valuables still got damaged?
How to ensure the crates organised for a move actually fulfill their purpose
You organise for a crate to be made to protect the relocation of something valuable, because it will at least reduce the risk of damage and insurance claims. But you find the item gets damaged, because the crate was not taken out on the move by mistake, the crate was too small/big, it was dropped because it was too heavy. If you want your crates to work as they should, read this.
